About Me
I am a graduate from the University of Alberta's Nutritional Sciences program and completed a Dietetic Internship to become a Dietitian. I created this blog because I am passionate about food, nutrition, health and writing.
In my past life I worked as a personal trainer and competed in a Provincial fitness competition. My nutrition philosophy as evolved a lot since those days. When I take my dietitian hat off, my other passion is our planet. I run a nation-wide environmental foodservice organization called LEAF (Leaders in Environmentally Accountable Foodservice). When I'm not working, you'll find me being active outdoors, running, hiking or playing tennis. I am also an amateur photographer and love to travel.
